13th Annual
FOR THE KIDS
Gala Dinner and Auction

The 13th Annual For The Kids Dinner and Auction was a great success netting over $130,000.00 for Isle of Wight Academy. Funds from this event will be used to support the renovation of the Library, technology, the music department and various capital projects here at IWA. One aspect of the evening every year is “Raise Your Paddle”. This year enough money was raised during that time to purchase a cart and classroom set of Chromebooks for our teachers to use with their various classes. The IWA Chorus, in conjunction with the Randolph-Macon Choir, provided wonderful entertainment during dinner. Thanks to all of our sponsors and donors for their support of this event. A complete list of donors is available on the IWA website so please be sure to patronize the businesses that support our school . Volunteers that serve on the auction committee meet in September to start planning for the event and they would love to have you join them. Contact Mary-Margaret Wells at IWA for further information about being an auction committee member. The committee is already looking for sponsors and donors to next year’s event! If you have a business and would consider being a sponsor or donating an item, please contact Mary-Margaret Wells at IWA (marymargaretwells@iwacademy.com) ! This evening is a great time for a great cause and we can’t wait until the second Saturday in March for the 14th Annual For the Kids Gala! ”
